Welcome to our East Park Neighborhood 5!

East Park is located in the prestigious Lake Nona area of East Orlando and is ideally situated minutes from Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and the Orlando International Airport. 
 
Lake Nona is home of the 700-acre biomedical project known as Medical City.  The continued growth of the Medical City will employ thousands of doctors, scientists, researchers, and other support staff making Lake Nona's proximity to Medical City the perfect location.  With an estimated $2 billion in construction work that encompasses the UCF Medical School, Burnham Institute for Medical Research, Nemours Children's Hospital, a VA Hospital, and the Medical Research Park, the future of this community makes it the premiere spot for medical professionals creating upwards of 30,000 new jobs in the area and adding billions to the Florida economy. 
 
The East Park subdivision is within the Orlando city limits and is divided into multiple neighborhoods with different Homeowner's Associations (HOAs).  The HOAs are independent associations responsible for ensuring the individual communities' Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs) are adhered to by the residents.  The HOA's Board of Directors is elected annually by the residents and is tasked with maintaining common areas and managing contracts and improvements to the community through annual activities that focus on community relationships.  The HOA is funded directly by the residents of the community.  The common areas for East Park 5 include Holiday Park and Playhouse Park.
 
In addition, the East Park subdivision falls into the East Park Community Development District (CDD).  The CDD is responsible for the main East Park entrance, Savannah Park, the roads inside the community (except for Savannah Park Drive), the park around the lake, the tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as the restroom facilities.  Funds for the CDD are included in the annual Orange County property tax assessment
